Design & Install

Our Design Process

STEP 1: CONSULT

Our landscape designer will meet you at your property to understand your objectives and get to know you better. We’ll discuss your project, address any questions about our design and build process, and establish timelines. Additionally, we’ll assess the terrain, measure the area, and conduct soil tests if needed.

STEP 2: DETAIL

The next step is to focus on the details of your project: getting specific with the layout of features, choosing plant and tree varieties, selecting hardscape material, inventory, and analysis of existing trees and shrubs in the proposed work area.

STEP 3: DESIGN

Upon completing Step 2, you’ll receive the initial draft of your landscape design. This draft serves as the starting point for incorporating your valuable feedback into the final design. Once we reach a shared vision for the ultimate design, we’ll present a transparent estimate of the costs and a realistic timeframe for bringing your custom project to life.

STEP 4: PRESENT PROPOSAL & SCHEDULE

We provide a proposal for your approval and signature directly after the landscape design is complete and approved. Our proposal is not an estimate but a ready-to-build price. Additional elements can be incorporated into the project’s scope through a ‘Change Order Proposal’ after the initial proposal phase. At this point, we assign your project to an Edge Production Team and schedule the Build start date.

STEP 5: BUILD

While some projects can be completed within a matter of days, larger or more intricate ones may extend to multiple weeks based on the scope. Given the nature of our industry, where weather plays a crucial role, occasional inclement weather might lead to minor delays in project completion. We prioritize keeping you informed, ensuring transparency, and minimizing surprises.

STEP 6: FINAL WALK THROUGH

On the day of project completion, our team will walk you on a guided tour of your new outdoor space and provide you with the necessary information on taking care of your new outdoor space. Once you’re satisfied with every detail, we’ll seek your final approval, officially marking the completion of your outdoor project.
